Bush Parker

Parker is a bush green bean that bears pods 14 - 15 cm long, 7 - 8 mm thick with a smooth skin. The jelly in Parker remains firm for quite a long time after picking. We recommend a plant stand of a minimum of 250m seeds per Ha. This should yield in excess of 11 t per Ha over 4 picks. Parker is resistant to Halo Blight, Common Bean Mosaic Virus and Anthracnose. Parker has shown an excellent field tolerance to rust.

Climbing English Runners

When it comes to English Runner beans we have 2 varieties. Enorma and Equator. Enorma has red flowers and produces runner beans between 30 and 32cm long. Equator is not day length sensitive, has white flowers and produces runner beans between 25 and 26cm long. Both Enorma and Equator have resistance to BCMV.

Climbing Monty

Monty is a climbing green bean bred for growing under cover. The pod is 13-14 cm long, 7-9 mm thick with a smooth skin. The jelly in Monty remains firm for quite a long time. We recommend a maximum plant stand of 24 m seeds per Ha. The control of red rust is imperative. Resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus.

Climbing Purple

When it comes to purple climbing beans we have Violetta. Violetta grows on a purple vine with purple flowers and produces pods 15-18cm long and 9-10mm thick. Violetta has resistance to BCMV.

When it comes to yellow climbing beans we have 2 varieties, Brooke and Smuts. Brooke grows to be 17-18cm long and 9-10mm thick and Smuts which will grow to be 16-17cm long and 9-11mm thick. Both have resistance to BCMV.
